1. Nepal Telecom
Nepal Telecom is not only the biggest company in Nepal, but Nepal Telecom/NTC is also the biggest brand in Nepal. Nepal Telecom is the company that started the Telecommunication service in Nepal. Until 2003 when UTL began to provide telecom service, NTC had a monopoly in the telecommunication sector.
There was a time when people had to stay in queue to purchase the SIM card of NTC. Later many telecommunication companies like Ncell, previously known as Mero Mobile also entered this sector.
However, all these things also couldn’t stop NTC to emerge as the biggest brand in Nepal. While most telecommunication companies like UTL failed to survive in this field, NTC is still standing on the top. There are more than 20 Million active users of Nepal Telecom.

3. Wai Wai Noodles
If there is any Nepali brand that is more popular in other countries than Nepal, then it’s Wai Wai Noodles. Wai Wai is a brand of instant noodles that was initially started in Thailand in 1972. With the technical assistance of a Thailand company, Thai Preserved Food Factory Co.
Chaudhary Group introduced Wai Wai noodles in 1985 in Nepal. Initially, CG built 4 factories in Nepal and 6 factories in India for the manufacture and distribution of Wai Wai. Wai Wai has been loved by people from its initial days. Today, it has come a long way.
Every year more than 2.3 billion packets of Wai Wai Noodles are made and distributed over 32 countries including countries like Bangladesh, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, etc.
